Harnessing the power of nature. The biomimetic Reverse Osmosis membrane incorporates aquaporin proteins to replicate natures own water filtration process and filters water faster and better than ever before. The filter can effectively remove harmful substances down to 0.0001 micron*. Aquaporin Inside鈩� Reverse Osmosis filtration technology is developed by Aquaporin A/S (Denmark) and tested in collaboration with NASA and ESA for aerospace activities. This partnership highlights the level of technical innovation, performance and durability.
System control unit and purified water outlet. Beautifully designed in quality ABS plastic and Zinc Alloy housing. It lets you choose from multiple temperatures (ambient, 45掳C, 55掳C, 65掳C, 75掳C, 85掳C or 95掳C) and dispensing volumes (240ml, 500ml, 1000ml, continuous). The faucet is designed to conveniently rotate 120掳, making it very user friendly for daily applications.
Tested to reduce overall TDS by 95% based on NSF/ANSI 58 standards. The smart faucet displays the level of TDS in the purified water, giving you reassurance about the quality of your drinking water.
Continuous flow heating technology supports instant hot purified water. The internal heating tank is constructed from low carbon 316L stainless steel with superior corrosion resistance and strength.
This innovative system has a water purification capacity of 800 gallons per day (GPD). The system supports a 2.1 L/min instant water filtration and dispensing flow, both for ambient and heated water. Meeting big family requirements, without the need for a seperate storage tank.
TDS creep is the result of not using RO systems for a period of time: total dissolved solids (TDS) are creeping into the treated side of RO membranes, increasing the TDS-out levels for a short period of time. Philips FreshPro automatically flushes the system with purified water - also when not in use - reducing TDS creep.
Thanks to the advanced filtration technology, this water station produces purified water more efficiently. It can produce two liters purified water from three liters input water, realizing a 2:1 "drain ratio".
Most traditional domestic RO systems support a water purification speed of 50 gallons per day (50 GPD), resulting in a filtration flow of 0.13L/min. To provide a more acceptable water dispensing speed, these traditional systems are supplied with a separate purified water storage tank. This 800 GPD Philips Water Station delivers a water purification speed of 2.1L/min, resulting in a space-saving tankless-design and avoiding the risk of 鈥渟econdary pollution鈥� (bacteria build-up in the purified water storage tank).
The 5-layer filter cartridge (Philips AUT609R800/00) is tested to keep its performance for at least 6,000 liters of water purification. Recommended to replace after 2 years of usage. A filter lifetime indicator on the smart faucet will remind you when the cartridge is nearing the end of its lifetime and should be replaced.
In Australia, plumbing and drainage products need to be installed by a licensed plumber and a licensed plumber is not permitted to install plumbing and drainage products without WaterMark certification. This Philips Tap Water Station is certified to the latest Watermark requirements AS/NZS 3497:2021 (drinking water treatment systems) and AS/NZS 3498:2020 (water heaters and hot-water storage tanks) by CSA Group International.
Tested by CTI International in accordance with the American National Standard for point-of-use (POU) reverse osmosis (RO) systems (NSF 58). This standard includes materials used, structural integrity and safety, product literature and total dissolved solids (TDS) reduction. Tested Overall Percent Reduction was over 95. Tested by CSA Group International in accordance with NSF/ANSI Standard 372 (Lead free compliance).
